Welcome to the inaugural Molecular Diagnostics Asia conference and exhibition. This year's event was kindly hosted by the Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS), a biomedical research institute of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) in Singapore.

The conference was co-located with Screening Asia and RNAi Asia. Registered delegates had access to all three meetings ensuring a very cost-effective trip.
