We developed a technique of performing cell-based assays in drop arrays on a standard tissue-culture polystyrene petri dish without further surface modification, and modelled the adsorption of serum in the cell media at the liquid and solid interfaces.

Aishah Prastowo

Aishah Prastowo is currently a DPhil student in Engineering Science at Brasenose College, University of Oxford. She obtained her first degree on Engineering Physics at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, before doing a master’s on Interdisciplinary Approach to Life Sciences at Université Paris Descartes, France. Her research focuses on developing a novel technique for droplet manipulation in microfluidics, particularly for mammalian cell based assays.
