The current lack of coordination between the FDA guidance documents and their regulatory actions has created tremendous angst among physicians and industry experts seeking to further advance autologous stem cell therapies in the U.S. This has lead many to consider the option of relocating to an off-shore facility. I will discuss the tremendous pitfalls of such an adventure from my own personal experience.
