One of the greatest challenges facing the stem cell industry is the standardization of cellular processing for therapeutic applications. The current regulatory framework concerns regarding the transmission of communicable disease, cellular potency, sterility and identification of cellular samples are key factors. American CryoStem has developed a clinical end to end method to address these issues, within the current regulatory framework, and to process clinical grade mesenchymal stem cell samples from harvested adipose tissue in a laboratory environment. This clinical method ensures that all adipose tissue samples submitted for processing and storage are properly tested (sterility, viability and quantity).
