Kennedy Okeyo, Senior Lecturer, Institute for Frontier Life and Medical Sciences, Kyoto UniversityDr. Kennedy O. Okeyo is currently a senior lecturer at the Institute for Frontier Life and Medical Sciences, Kyoto University. He graduated with a PhD in mechanical engineering from Kyoto University, Japan, and worked briefly in a company thereafter. Prior to his current appointment, he worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, The University of Tokyo, Japan. His current research interests includes tissue engineering, biomicrofluidics, and cellular biomechanics, with specific focus on stem cell function manipulation based on cell-material interactions. |
