Chia-Pin Chang, Scientist, Institute of Microelectronics A*STAR

Dr. Chang is a Scientist at the Bioelectronics programe, Institute of microelectronics (IME) from A-STAR, Singapore. His research interests include developing bio-chemical sensors and In-vitro diagnostics (IVD) devices for human diseases. Dr. Chang has more than six years of hands-on design and laboratory experience of optical biochemical microfluidics analytical systems. His chemical background and engineering knowledge enable him to work on several interdisciplinary opto-electromechanical projects for developing microfluidic diagnostic medical systems, including recently developed rare cell isolation platform.
