Tao Zhang

Dr. Zhang Tao is a scientist at Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology, where he is developing emerging technologies for industrial applications including microfluidic manufacturing, material surface modification, functional coatings for medical devices, and cell sorting and enrichment for cell therapy.
Dr. Zhang received his PhD degree in chemical and biomolecule engineering in 2013 from National University of Singapore. Since then, he joined Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology as a scientist.
His current research interests include surface modification for polymer materials, control release system on microfluidic devices, and label-free cell sorting devices.
