Chantal BoulangerResearch Director, Paris Cardiovascular Research CenterChantal Boulanger received her PhD at the University of Strasbourg in 1986 and was appointed senior research director at the French Biomedical Agency (INSERM) in 2009. She is currently the Director of the Cardiovascular Research Center in Paris, France, where she is heading a lab on “Endothelial dysfunction and extracellular vesicles”. She has authored over 120 original publications and 45 reviews or book chapters. She also acts as an Associate Editor of Arteriosclerosis Thrombosis and Vascular Biology and the Journal of Extracellular Vesicles. |
Christine HappelScientific Program Manager, National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS)Dr. Happel is the Scientific Program Manager for the NIH Extracellular RNA Communication Program. Dr. Happel has a Ph.D. in molecular biology and genetics from Temple University School of Medicine. She did postdoctoral fellowships at Johns Hopkins University and NCI, focusing on microRNA mediated regulation of gene expression in cancer. She also previously served as the Assistant Project Director for the NIH AIDS Reagent Program. |
Sai Kiang LimResearch Director, Institute of Medical Biology, A*STARDr Sai-Kiang Lim graduated with B.Sc (Hons), NUS. PhD SUNY at Buffalo and did post-doctoral training Columbia University. She led independent research groups at NUMI, NUS (1996-2001), Genome Institute of Singapore (2002-2007) and then Institute of Medical Biology (2007-present). The current research interest in her lab is the study of extracellular vesicles (EVs) for the development of therapeutics and diagnostics as well as artificial lipid membrane vesicles. |
