Cicek Gercel-Taylor's Biography

Cicek Gercel-Taylor, Clinical Research Director, Exosome Sciences Inc.

Dr Gercel-Taylor has been on the faculty of University of Louisville School of Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology before her current role in Exosome Sciences. Her research has focused on the role of exosomes on target cells involved in various oncologic conditions. She has explored the role of endogenous and exogenous hormones in gynecologic cancers. Her main interest is identification and characterization of clinically relevant biomarkers, with specific interest on the proteomic and RNA cargoes associated with exosomes.
