Seiya Imoto received the BS, MS, and PhD degrees in mathematics from Kyushu University, Japan, in 1996, 1998, and 2001, respectively. Currently, he is working as an associate professor in the Human Genome Center, Institute of Medical Science, The University of Tokyo. His current research interests include statistical analysis of high-dimensional data by Bayesian approach, biomedical information analysis, transomics analysis for next generation sequencing data, gene network estimation and analysis, computational drug target discovery, and systems cancer research.
