Roland Durner, Global Head of LSB Distributors, Tecan Trading AG

Dr. Roland Durner is currently Global Head of the Life Science Distributor Business at Tecan.Roland has gained his PhD in Sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich, Switzerland on production process development of Bioplastics. After several positions in Product Marketing and General Management he has joined Tecan 11 years ago where his team developed and marketed a range of High – Throughput applications in Bioprocess development, often in close collaboration with leading companies in the field. After opening and leading the sales and service office in Melbourne, Australia, he is now supporting Tecan’s partners worldwide in implementing best practices.
