Anshu Bhardwaj's Biography

Anshu Bhardwaj, Scientist, CSIR- Open Drug Discovery Unit

Dr. Anshu Bhardwaj did her Ph.D. from Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad in 2008. She joined the Open Source Drug Discovery (OSDD) project in 2008 as a PI leading the drug discovery for Tuberculosis. She is a key node in OSDD network and handles human resources, ensures wider visibility and expansion of the community, monitors and facilitates cross talk in the community. She conceived, designed and implemented crowdsourcing as a tool to tackle challenging scientific problems through the Connect to Decode project and is instrumental in establishing crowdsourced model for open innovation for OSDD. She is on the Editorial Board of Frontiers of Systems Biology and is Associate Scientific Advisor for Science Translational Medicine.
