Overview

Select Biosciences has designed this conference track to bring together researchers and industry participants focusing on the utility of stem cells for the treatment of various types of cancer.

There is much interest in the field to use stem cells for treating hematological as well as solid tumors. HSCTs using bone marrow, PBLs, and cord blood have paved the way for such treatments to be possible and successful.

We examine in this conference track the basic and translational research studies being performed to bring stem cells to the oncology field.We also examine in this conference track cancer stem cells (CSCs), an often controversial topic, but nevertheless important for understanding cancer propagation at the basic level and also as a means to target tumors.
