This talk will elaborate the Novel insights into intracellular signalling pathways. Cytokines will be discussed in the context of current therapies and future drug discovery and development. In this presentation many conventional therapies, such as statins and nutraceuticals, that modulate cytokine signalling will also be discussed. The limitation of cytokine therapeutics and the possibility of approaches involving modulation of cells that produce anti-atherogenic cytokines will also be presented.
